The Position of a Graduate Town Planner

  • Assist in preparing and reviewing planning applications and supporting documents.
  • Conduct site assessments and research to inform planning proposals.
  • Contribute to the preparation of planning reports, feasibility studies, and development briefs.
  • Support senior planners in engaging with stakeholders, including local authorities, developers, and community groups.
  • Participate in site visits and planning meetings.
  • Stay updated with planning policies, regulations, and best practices.

Essential Criteria for the Graduate Town Planner

  • Degree or higher in relevant subject with desire or chartered status with RTPI
  • A highly motivated commercial approach, with the ability to work as part of and lead a team.
  • Have strong research, analytical skills, and reporting skills.
  • Be a proactive and professional individual.
