This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in entering the legal sector, or those with some experience who wish to develop their skills further.The position is initially a 3-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension or a permanent role based on performance and business needs.Key Responsibilities:As a Legal Administrator, your role will involve:Managing correspondence, both via phone and email, with individuals regarding outstanding debts. Proactively contacting individuals in the pre-legal action stage to discuss settlement options before legal proceedings are initiated. Working closely with individuals to secure payments, set up payment plans, and address any disputes or provide legal advice where necessary. Providing comprehensive administrative support, including issuing letters of claim, screening incoming correspondence, drafting legal documents, updating case management systems, filing and archiving, and handling other ad-hoc duties as required. About You:To be considered for this role, you will need:Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Previous experience in a customer-facing role would be advantageous. A basic understanding of civil procedure laws and debt recovery would be beneficial.
