Role: Criminal Paralegal role
Salary: £22k - £35k Depending on experience
Location: Sheffield
Times: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
Must have: min 1 year experience as a criminal paralegal
Paralegal Criminal Law
This is a great opportunity to join a reputable, well-established and successful law firm based in the heart of Sheffield. Our client is looking for an ambitious and hard-working Paralegal who has a passion to develop their career within Criminal law. They are looking for someone who would like to qualify and will consider offering a training contract.
Key day to day tasks include:
- Managing Crown Court files
- Applying for Legal Aid applications
- Applying to CPS for evidence
- Preparing crown files and Magistrates Court files for billing
- Distributing evidence to Fee Earners
- Dealing with queries
- Attending Police stations
- Meeting clients in prison
- Taking instructions
- Making written applications to court
- Preparing Bail applications
- Preparing appeal documentation
- Assisting with Audit Preparation
- Preparing Proof
