A hands on Maintenance Engineer is required to join a collaborative and creative injection moulding business where over 50% of what they sell is a product that they've specially innovated for one of their Global Customers.
Reporting to the Maintenance Lead, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Manufacturing department, including repairs and maintenance to ensure minimum disruption to production.
***Up to 45,000, days Monday - Friday***
As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include -
- Providing electrical/mechanical maintenance for all site primary plant and building assets
- Adhering to PPM/TPM schedules and responsive reaction to breakdowns
- Seeking out and implementing improvements to reduce the level of breakdowns using lean improvement methodologies
- Working with suppliers to improve the mean time between failure of parts (MTBF)
- Installation and commissioning of new assembly equipment into production
- Training staff to ensure skills are transferred across all functions
- Attending Machine Expert / Project meetings at European sites as and when required (approximately 4 per year)
To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will -
- Be an experienced Maintenance Engineer with extensive injection moulding experience
- Ideally be multi-skilled (minimal electrical work involved)
- Be a good communicator, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

- A basic salary 40 - 45K
- Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm (some flexibility required)
