PSR Solutions are working with a highly reputable M&E Contractor based in Sheffield, who are looking for a top M&E Project Manager within the Retail sector of the industry.

M&E Project Manager Retail Role:

  • To provide management & direction to Supervisors, a team of engineers / specialist sub-contractors
  • Assist and ensure that all activities are in line with H&S.
  • Ensure Supervisors, Operatives and Sub Contractors are compliant & provide support to them as is reasonably required, assisting with the day to day running of the team, creating and hitting daily objectives as well as being part of running small projects.

M&E Project Manager Retail Responsibilities:

As the M&E Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of retail projects. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Project Planning & Management
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for M&E installations in retail settings
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth integration of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • On-Site Management
  • Oversee on-site activities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company standards, and project specifications.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and address any issues prompt
  • Review and approve M&E designs, technical specifications, and plans.
  • Provide technical guidance and problem-solving expertise to resolve challenges during the installation phase.
  • Monitor project costs and proactively address any variances to maintain financial control.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports and cost updates to senior management.
  • Ensure all M&E works adhere to industry standards, client requirements, and relevant regulations
  • Implement quality assurance checks to maintain the highest standards of workmanship.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, subcontractors, and external partners to achieve project goals
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

M&E Project Manager Retail Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven track record of managing M&E projects within the retail sector.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of M&E systems, retail-specific requirements, and relevant industry standards.
  • SMSTS
  • NVQ Level 3 (Minimum)
  • NICEIC QS Experience
  • 18th Edition
  • 2391 - 52 or equivalent
