They are looking to grow their team out and diversify their portfolio of products and are in need of a new Mechanical Design Engineer to help facilitate that.This role will involve taking on a project from initial conceptualisation through to manufacturing, liaising with clients to understand their requirements for new or altered equipment, internal teams to ensure feasibility of projects and external sub-contractors. The main responsibility will be the design work of new products or alteration of past designs.This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar with a background in Heavy Industry design looking to join an established company who are looking to branch out and grow their portfolio as a company and can provide specific training and a range of company benefits such as Healthcare, extra holiday days for long service and a company bonus.The Role

  • Background in SolidWorks / AutoCAD or similar
  • Commutable to Sheffield
