Sonic Summary

Chroma is seeking a Project Engineer for a leading Engineering firm specializing in heavy machinery and turn-key solutions.
The role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related field, along with a strong technical and commercial background.
The successful candidate will oversee projects from initial inquiry through to installation and commissioning, reporting directly to the Head of Projects.

Candidates must have an HNC/D or degree in Mechanical Engineering, be able to travel overseas, and ideally possess CAD experience.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Project Engineer with both strong technical and commercial ability who can take projects through from cradle to grave.

The successful Project Engineer will report directly to the Head of Projects and will play a critical role with everything from original technical enquiry, bidding, liaison, purchasing, technical design, documentation, managing man hours - right through to installation/commissioning.

Project Engineer Requirements:

HNC/D or Degree level in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
Background in Heavy Machinery/Plant Equipment
Technical design background ideally including CAD experience
Able to travel overseas
Ambitious and driven character
Commercial experience (Desirable)
