Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and dynamic Music lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Plan and deliver a creative and inclusive music curriculum that caters to a range of abilities and learning styles
Prepare students for GCSE music assessments and support their overall musical development
Promote a positive and encouraging learning environment, fostering creativity and confidence
Support extra-curricular music activities, including school concerts, ensembles, and music clubs
Collaborate with colleagues to continually enhance the music department and curriculum

Person Specification:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Proven experience teaching Music at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge, with the ability to teach both practical and theoretical elements of music
Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying musical abilities
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment
A passion for music education and fostering a love of music in young learners
