Payroll Adminstrator Sheffield My client is a leading independent , well established accountancy practice in Sheffield part of a large regional group who is going from strength to strength. Due to business growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced payroll officer to join their busy team. The role would be working four days a week on a part time basis .Key responsibilities include: * Processing multiple payrolls on a weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis on behalf of clients * Calculating SMP, SSP and Holiday pay. * Dealing with RTI and Auto-enrolment. * Sending BACs and Cheques Payments * Knowledge of Iris payroll software and a good level of excel skills is ideal * Experience of VAT returns and bookeeping would also be benficial but not essential. Individuals are likely to have a strong track record in Payroll, ideally within an accountancy pracitce or be confident in dealing with multiple payrolls and deadlines. Knowledge of Iris payroll software would also be beneficial. You will be looking to join a well established firm and there are opportunities for progression in the longer term for the right individual.
