Royal Mail is on the lookout for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Postal Delivery Drivers. This role is a fantastic opportunity for those who have a passion for community service and enjoy being active and on the move.
Day to Day of the role:- Navigate through delivery routes to ensure all mail and parcels are delivered promptly.
- Provide exceptional service, maintaining the high standards of Royal Mail.
- Handle mail and parcels, keeping active throughout the day.
- Be the friendly face of Royal Mail in your community, come rain or shine.
- Full, manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Physical fitness – able to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a bag weighing up to 16kg.
- Flexibility – readiness to work on varying shifts, sometimes at short notice.

Shifts:
Working up to 6 days Between the hours of 6am and 8pm Mon-Sat with rotating days off.
Pay rates:
- Day Shift (STARTS AND FINISHES BETWEEN 0531 - 1959) £13.37
- Early 05:30 (STARTS BETWEEN 0501 - 0530) £14.28
- Evening (FINISHES BETWEEN 2000 - 2139) £14.05
- Lates (FINISHES BETWEEN 2140 - 0159) £14.82
- Overtime (37+ hours) Mon - Sat £15.68
- Bank Holidays £18.81
