Salary: £28,800 rising to £30,000 after 6 months + Pension + Overtime

Saturday & Sundays ONLY - 12hr Shifts - Rotating Days & Nights

The Company

My client is one of the world’s leading FMCG manufacturers within their sector who have been established over 35 years. Supplying their products into the FMCG industries the group has gone from strength to strength over the last decade to become centre of excellence within the industry they specialise in. Due to further expansion within the UK market; they need to recruit a weekend shift process supervisor.

Key Skills

  • Experience as a Production Co-ordinator/Process Shift Supervisor.
  • Injection Moulding knowledge/FMCG industry experience.
  • Understanding of Health &Safety.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day manufacturing operations on site, during the weekend shifts. You will be responsible for managing a team of operatives this site. The ideal candidate will come from a plastics or similar manufacturing/operations background, with experience in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing techniques and a working knowledge of TPM. This successful candidate will manage key performance indicators across all areas of production, to ensure that all targets are hit, to fulfil their customer requirements. This is a challenging role, though the rewards for success are excellent, with the opportunity to develop into a more senior role within this forward thinking organisation.
