Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of EPR implementations, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality results.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Trust and Programme Executive leadership, central Programme teams, and program/project managers.
  • Provide executive-level change management expertise, driving the adoption of new delivery models and system integration.
  • Identify, track, and support the realization of benefits associated with EPR implementation and changes in working practices.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Recognised Project Management accreditation (e.g., MSP, PgMP, Prince2)
  • Extensive experience as a Programme Manager/Director, managing EPR system implementations within NHS trusts
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Health (Cerner) EPR systems or alternative EPR solutions
  • Proven track record of delivering successful business change programmes
  • Strong operational acumen and understanding of healthcare processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

  • Additional relevant accreditations (e.g., change management, risk management, benefits management)
  • Experience working with NHSE governance and funding processes
  • In-depth knowledge of business change processes and benefits realisation
