Unite People are a specialist construction& building recruitment company, working with a leading constructioncontractor with to hire a Project Manager to oversee new build and refurbishment projects of commercial, educational and mixed use developments.

Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects ofpre-construction, build and handoverof projects ranging from 5m - 30m in value. Working withwith a wide range ofsectors, you will be working with and experienced management, design & delivery teamthat strive for customer satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all contractual elements ofconstruction on-site, delegating and driving a team.
  • Provide input to facilitate successful delivery of construction packages.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and subcontractors to understand project requirements and expectations.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and lead project meetings, ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on-site.
  • Manage and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Oversee project budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Provide regular project updates to clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Proactively identify and address potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure timely completion of project milestones and final delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalentin Construction Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Senior Site or Project Manager
  • Knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficient in Asta Software, planning and scheduling of works.
