About the Role:

As a Buyer, you will:

  • Manage the procurement of materials and services required for groundworks and residential construction projects.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Monitor market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to site.
  • Prepare and maintain procurement schedules, budgets, and reports.
What We're Looking For:
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Buyer in the groundworks or residential groundworks sector.
  • Strong knowledge of materials and suppliers within the construction industry.
  • Excellent negotiation, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full UK driving license.
