Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per year
Location: Sheffield S3
Schedule: Monday to Friday (07:00 - 17:00), Saturday (07:00 - 12:00)
Break: 45-minute break
Must have own tools
We are seeking an experienced and skilled HGV Mechanic to join our team in Sheffield. As an HGV Mechanic, you will play a vital role in the maintenance and repair of a wide range of commercial vehicles, ensuring they remain in top working condition and meet safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Diagnose and repair faults efficiently, minimizing downtime.
- Work to tight deadlines while ensuring quality and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out.
- Ensure tools and equipment are used and maintained properly.
What Were Looking For:
- Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HGV systems, diagnostics, and repair.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong commitment to safety and quality of work.
- Must have own tools for the role.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
