Partnership Manager / Business Development Manager who has experience in global business development and account management from the engineering / manufacturing sector, with excellent strategic prospecting skills and the ability to secure large-scale accounts is required to join our team at Preformed Windings, a people-centric SME manufacturer of high voltage diamond coils for motors and generators, supplying hydro, nuclear and renewables sectors worldwide.

ALL INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE CONSIDERED

Ideally you will have previous Nuclear and Hydropower market experience that includes high voltage rotating electrical equipment. Although, this is not essential as long as youre prepared to develop your knowledge within this field. However, you will need a proven track record in global sales within the engineering / manufacturing industry.

SALARY: £90,000 OTE (depending on experience) + Generous Benefits (see below)

LOCATION: Remote working available. There also opportunities to work Hybrid from the Office in Sheffield if accessible from where you live.

PLEASE NOTE: You will be required to work from the office in Sheffield for the first couple of weeks you join us whilst learning the products, processes etc. after which you can work remotely from home.

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Partnership Manager / Business Development Manager who has experience in global business development and account management from the engineering / manufacturing sector, with excellent strategic prospecting skills and the ability to secure large-scale accounts.

Working as the Partnership Manager / Business Development Manager you will be responsible for strategically identifying, acquiring, and developing relationships with new clients across international markets, aligning the companys objectives to increase global market share, diversify revenue streams, and enhance our competitive positioning.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Partnership Manager / Business Development Manager include:

  • Market Research & Strategy Development: Identify high-potential markets and formulate market entry strategies
  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Actively pursue leads and build relationships with key decision-makers
  • Negotiation & Closing: Drive contract negotiations and secure long-term agreements
  • Collaboration: Work with marketing, product development, and operations to tailor offerings for specific markets

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Expertise in global business development and account management from the engineering manufacturing sector. Nuclear and Hydropower market experience is preferred
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proven track record in securing large-scale accounts across multiple regions
  • A curious nature, the ability to listen and hear opportunities and risks and leverage into value added activity
  • Ambitious and value adding
  • Adaptable and articulate relationship building and communication skills
  • Results driven

BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCE

  • Experience within the high voltage rotating electrical equipment refurbishment and modernisation industry
  • Experience with, and network of contacts in the hydro and nuclear industry (including operators/end users)
  • Experience selling High voltage stator bars
  • Experience selling high voltage stator coils
