A busy accountancy practice in south Sheffield is seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their team.
The ideal candidate should have one to two years of experience in an accountancy practice and be responsible for preparing accounts, VAT returns, and tax computations.
Candidates may also be recent graduates with placement experience and should be studying AAT or planning to pursue ACCA.
The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
The salary for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Job Description:Our busy accountancy practice in south Sheffield is looking for a Semi-Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have around one to two years of experience working in an accountancy practice and will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:Responsibilities:Preparation of accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders Preparation of VAT returns and tax computations Keeping clients records up to date and dealing with client queries . Assistance with payroll Requirements:You will have a strong background of working within an accountancy practice and be looking for your next role. Alterntively you may be graduating and have worked in a placment year and be looking for a move. You will be studying AAT or looking to go onto ACCA.
