Machinist
A well-established family owned company are looking for a Manual Machinist to join their team in Sheffield. The Machinist role will involve setting and operating a traditional manual lathe machine in a production environment.
The successful Machinist will have the following attributes:
- Significant experience working on manual turning
- Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Proficiency in using equipment for precision measurements.
- Fanuc CNC experience is advantageous
- Ability to set and operate machinery
- Experience with bench and hand fitting operations
- Competent completing one off bespoke products
- Previous experience working bespoke production environment
- Able to work using own initiative
- Self-inspection experience
Package Offered:
- Permanent position
- Perment Days
- Pay is dependent on experience
- Day shift: 8.00am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am till 4.00pmon a Friday
- Overtime available paid at a premium
