Hays Education is partnering with several Special Needs (SEN) schools in South Yorkshire to recruit dedicated SEN teachers. We are seeking qualified teachers with experience in Autism (ASD), Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Behavioural Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD), and Complex Needs.Key Requirements:

  • Experience with Autism (ASD), Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Behavioural Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD), and Complex Needs.
  • Additional skills in Team Teach, Moving and Handling, or Personal Care are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with various learning schemes, including personalised and vocational learning plans.
  • Experience collaborating with outside agencies, medical professionals, parents/carers, Teaching Assistants, and SENCOs.
  • Availability for full-time, long-term positions (5 days a week).
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status and referenceable experience within the last 5 years.
