We are looking for enthusiastic SEN tutors to join our team, helping both primary and secondary school students reach their full potential. The successful candidate needs to have experience with children with Special Needs and have an interactive approach to teaching in Sheffield.

Key Details:

  • Job Type: Temporary- Contract
  • Hours: Flexible (arranged around your availability)
  • Location: Sheffield: Child's home, local library, or school (as agreed)
  • Subjects: Core subjects (English, Maths, Science)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver personalised lessons to meet the specific needs of the child
  • Use inclusive SEN learning strategies to create an engaging and supportive environment
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit a range of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) requirements
  • Monitor and assess the child's progress, adjusting lesson plans as needed

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience with SEND students is essential
  • Qualifications: SEN qualifications are desirable, but not required
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status): Desirable but not mandatory
  • DBS Check: Must have or be willing to undertake a DBS check
  • Right to Work: Must have the right to work in the UK
