We are seeking a dedicated Special Needs Education Classroom Teacher, preferably with a Maths specialism, to join a school that has been consistently rated as outstanding by Ofsted. Day-to-day of the role:- Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of students with special educational needs.
- Collaborate with a supportive team to create individualised education plans that promote students’ academic and social development.
- Utilise innovative teaching methods and resources to inspire and motivate students.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages students to achieve their potential.
- Regularly assess and record students’ progress, adapting teaching methods to suit individual needs.
- Actively participate in school activities and contribute to the school community.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Maths preferred.
- Proven experience in a similar role or a role with transferable skills, specifically within an SEN setting.
- Confidence and dedication to go above and beyond in supporting children with special needs.
- Must possess a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work effectively as part of a team.
