We are seeking a dedicated Special Needs Education Classroom Teacher, preferably with a Maths specialism, to join a school that has been consistently rated as outstanding by Ofsted. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of students with special educational needs.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team to create individualised education plans that promote students’ academic and social development.
  • Utilise innovative teaching methods and resources to inspire and motivate students.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages students to achieve their potential.
  • Regularly assess and record students’ progress, adapting teaching methods to suit individual needs.
  • Actively participate in school activities and contribute to the school community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Maths preferred.
  • Proven experience in a similar role or a role with transferable skills, specifically within an SEN setting.
  • Confidence and dedication to go above and beyond in supporting children with special needs.
  • Must possess a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work effectively as part of a team.
