Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain are delighted to be supporting a financial institution, in the search and selection of a Director of Supplier Relationship Management, based at their Sheffield operation.An established and influential institution with a key mission of driving sustainable growth and prosperity throughout the United Kingdom. It plays a vital role in supporting access to finance for smaller businesses, facilitating their development and contributing to the transition towards a net zero economy.The Role:In this position, you will be required to you will be responsible for leading, developing and maximising the value of the supplier relationship management framework as well as the supplier relationship management aspects of the organisations policy, standards, processes and management information.You will contribute and play a proactive role in the Commercial Operations senior leadership team, leading a team of supplier relationship professionals, providing coaching, mentoring and development and act as a strategic, proactive cross-functional driver of continuous improvement bringing together different stakeholders across the businesses and ensuring that the supply base is managed professionally, consistently and in an integrated manner.You will ensure your team act as an effective conduit between stakeholders and the supply chain and effectively and strategically support the stakeholders in managing the key suppliers and providing oversight to the management of the wider supply chain.You will have experience of working in a complex corporate culture or rapidly growing business along with experience in working in diverse cross-functional/project teams.You will have a strong track record in effective and motivational people management to build, coach and motivate high performing teams as well as excellent presentation/briefing skills with the capability to both draft and present papers to all levels of seniority including executive committees.You will be able to demonstrate the ability to analyse complex performance information and invoicing for all outsourced services and have an excellent knowledge of working with and managing outsourced IT suppliers.The Package:£80,000 - £90,000• 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays, opportunity to buy and sell holiday• 15% employer pension contribution, • Performance related bonus• Flexible working - 2 days in Sheffield • Cycle to work scheme, healthcare cash plan and life assurance• Paid voluntary day, maternity, adoption, and shared parental leave• Benefits designed to suit your lifestyle - from discounts on retail and socialising, to health and wellbeing, travel, and technologyReady to make a difference?
