We are recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Process Leader for a global leader in advanced manufacturing. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team in Sheffield, playing a key role in managing vital supply chain activities. The successful candidate will handle purchase orders, supply chain forecasting, and risk management, while also coordinating logistics, ensuring import/export compliance, and supporting commercial negotiations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage direct procurement orders and track progress
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from external sub-contractors
- Oversee Import and Export Control processes, ensuring accurate documentation
- Handle customer invoicing and consumables stock management
- Negotiate commercial terms for consumable parts and services
- Arrange logistics to support supply chain operations
- Provide administrative support for quality archiving and general operations
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong understanding of production planning and supply chain processes
- Experience in manufacturing environments (aerospace experience advantageous)
- Solid commercial acumen with proven negotiation skills
- Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
