Role Overview
As an Estimator-Surveyor, you'll be at the heart of ensuring fire safety compliance for clients. This hybrid role combines site visits, office work, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fire door and compartmentation surveys.
- Produce precise remedial work quotes, ensuring compliance with regulations and methodologies.
- Update systems and asset records with comprehensive documentation and photos.
- Provide informal advice to fire officers and surveyors to improve safety measures.
- Audit completed remedial works, ensuring they meet technical guidance and accreditation standards.
- Support the sales team with technical estimates and supplier negotiations.
- Maintain professional development to stay abreast of industry changes.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in fire protection systems, surveying, or a related field.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency.
- A "right-first-time" mindset, excellent attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
- A full UK driving license.
