IT Service Delivery Manager

Who you will be working for

We are seeking an experienced IT Service Delivery Manager to oversee the IT roadmap and manage the delivery of strategic projects. This role involves engaging with vendors and multiple stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering IT strategies, transformations, and projects on leading commercial platforms, including Azure.

What you will be doing

  • Manage and evolve the technology roadmap to support the company's IT objectives.
  • Deliver projects in line with best practice project management disciplines and the company's Change Framework.
  • Engage with third-party providers and technical teams to ensure services are delivered within quality and time constraints.
  • Validate and review vendor and partner proposals to ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Facilitate technical and non-technical meetings to ensure progress remains on track.
  • Produce project control documents and progress reports for stakeholders, highlighting any risks or issues.
  • Oversee project budgets, ensuring costs align with expectations.

What you will need

  • Proven track record of delivering successful IT projects in similar roles.
  • Experience in a regulated financial services environment is an advantage.
  • Expertise with Public Cloud Platforms, particularly Azure.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure as code.
  • Experience managing Azure and infrastructure cloud projects, including migrations.
  • Experience managing and collaborating with third-party vendors.
  • Formal project management certification (PRINCE2, Agile) is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Project, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Cloud Architect - Fundamentals or Similar (desirable)
