ROLE SUMMARY

This job covers dual processes within our manufacturing route, Visual Inspection & Final cleaning of our products.

The primary focus is visually inspecting our products to ensure our high-quality standards are maintained.

Additional duties also include Ultra-sonic cleaning, Nitric-acid-passivating and occasional laser marking, and bead blasting.  Occasional duties include packing and dispatch from time to time and local deliveries. 

CORE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Visually inspect products for defects, burrs, blemishes, etc
  • Visually inspect products are clean from dirt, stains, blemishes, etc
  • Visually inspect products conform to laser-marking specifications on customer drawings.
  • Ultra-sonic cleaning & Passivation of components & products followed by drying in preparation for dispatch
  • Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions, consistently meeting high quality standards

   whilst working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.

  • Follow good manufacturing practise and health and safety protocols.
  • Have a clear desire to learn new methods and adhere to Company and Customer quality standards
  • Will enjoy working in a team, assist their colleagues and contribute to a Company goal of being the best in the Business.

  • Have a helpful attitude towards all personnel, fostering good working relationships
  • Give specific attention to those on his/her section and other sections as required by Management
  • Good time keeping
  • Maintain good working practices
  • Uphold Company policies including but not exhaustive of, eating and drinking policy, mobile phones & IT equipment policies
  • Implement Health & Safety policy which is relevant to his/her section
  • Monitoring of equipment within section and identifying maintenance requirements and notifying management
