As a Learning Support Assistant, you will significantly impact a pupil's education journey. You will work closely with an individual pupil, providing tailored support to help them succeed academically and develop important life skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with specific pupils providing personalised learning support.
- Assist with classroom activities and assignments to ensure the pupil's progress.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help the pupils build self-confidence and develop important social skills.
- Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, parents and other support professionals.
- Maintain regular communication to track and report on the pupil's progress.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months of UK education-based experience working with children, preferably in an educational or support role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathy, patience and a passion for helping pupils succeed.
- The ability to adapt to the unique needs of the individual student.
