As a Learning Support Assistant, you will significantly impact a pupil's education journey. You will work closely with an individual pupil, providing tailored support to help them succeed academically and develop important life skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with specific pupils providing personalised learning support.
  • Assist with classroom activities and assignments to ensure the pupil's progress.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Help the pupils build self-confidence and develop important social skills.
  • Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, parents and other support professionals.
  • Maintain regular communication to track and report on the pupil's progress.

Key Requirements:

  • Education-based experience working with children, preferably in an educational or support role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Empathy, patience and a passion for helping pupils succeed.
  • The ability to adapt to the unique needs of the individual student.
