Warehouse Operative
Our client based in Shefford are looking for an experienced warehouse operative to join their team on a permanent basis
Duties will include:
- To pick and stack orders ready for dispatch
- Check incoming orders for quantity and integrity before storing in the correct places
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing vehicles
- To supply production with materials
- To book transport for goods leaving site
- Assisting in stock takes
- Working with a WMS system
- To check incoming components and process the relevant paperwork
About you:
- Hold a counterbalance and or reach licence or have had one in the last 4 years
- Must have 1 year minimum of warehouse experience
- Be physically fit and work well in a team
- Enjoy working outside in all climates (suitable clothing will be provided).
- Have basic computer skills.
- Be numerate with a good attention to detail.
- Be flexible in your approach to work and willing to work overtime when required.
Hours:Â Monday to Friday
Rotating shifts 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm (37.5 hours per week)
Overtime is worked as required, including on Saturdays (Overtime rates will apply)
