Job Type: Full-time, Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm  Office based role with parking on site.
A returning client of ours is now looking for an Accounts Supervisor to join their small finance department.Â
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day to day finance processing activities.
- Must be able to complete accounts up to year end.
- Customer Accounts reconciliations.
- Credit Control – reconciling customer accounts and chasing for payment.
- Production of customer statements on a monthly basis and reminder letters, when required.
- Supplier Accounts reconciliations.
- Process supplier payments and any refunds.
- VAT Returns
- Inputting company expenses
Key skills required.
- Some supervisory experience and team leadership skills (overseeing one junior accounts person)Â
- Managing processes
- Attention to detail
- General maths and accounting skills - either AAT level studier or qualified by experience
- Experience in accounting software, specifically Sage or Cargowise
- Time management and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
- Confidentiality and trustworthiness
- Data entry management
- Excellent communication skills
