Heat Pump Engineer
Location: London and Surrounding
Salary: £46,000 - £49,000 per annum

Hours: Standard hours are 7:00 - 15:30. Engineers are paid for 10 hour days to cover travel time. No weekend work but 1 in 25 Saturday call out may be required. Overtime available but not essential, paid at 1.5x rate.

Job Profile:As a Heat Pump Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, fault finding, and repairing air source and ground source heat pumps. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of heating systems, while maintaining compliance with industry standards. This role is suited to an experienced HVAC professional with a strong technical background and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities / Duties:
- Independently maintain and repair air source and ground source heat pumps
- Conduct advanced fault finding and diagnostics
- Compile detailed dilapidation reports
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of work completed
- Adhere to industry regulations, standards, and company policies
- Promote health and safety best practices within all working environments
Requirements / Skills:
- Relevant qualifications in Unvented Hot Water, including WRAS certification
- Category 1 F-Gas qualification or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with both engineering and office teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
- Experience using manufacturer service software
- A background in air conditioning with a transition into heat pumps is desirable
