Field Service Engineer

We are working with a market leader in machine tool manufacturing. Due to a sustained period of growth and a full order-book, they are looking to increase their international field service team with two Engineers immediately to support blue chip clients within the Automotive and Aerospace sectors.

£40,000 - £44,000 - EARN £70-80k

Field Service Engineer - The Role:

• UK and International service and repair for specialist machine tooling

• Majority of servicing will be pre-planned in advance

• You will offer excellent customer service and build client relationships

• Servicing of equipment for leading Automotive & Aerospace businesses

• Electrically or Mechanically qualified

• CNC or PLC - Fanuc or Siemens experience highly advantageous

Field Service Engineer - The Person:

• Engineering apprenticeship or HNC qualified

• UK Driving licence and valid passport essential.

• Previous experience in field-based International servicing for Machine Tools

This is a home based role offering flexibility for determined and dedicated Engineers. You will work a 37 hour basic week, with overtime paid after. All travel is paid including flights. A travel bonus is paid if you are away from home for 21 days and over and you will be given a generous subsistence allowance. Travel in the UK will be 60% with travels from Monday to Friday. Overseas travel to North America, Japan, Asia, Singapore etc will be for 2-3 weeks per visit.
