  • MTrec are currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing firm based in the Shildon area.

The Job You’ll Do;

  • Compliance with all relevant EHS policies and standard operating procedures
  • In-process and final testing of batches to required specifications
  • Testing and approval of raw materials and 3rd party intermediates
  • Checking and recording of results
  • Approval of batches to fill and dispatch
  • Producing, checking and signing test reports where required
  • Checking and authorizing release documentation
  • Carrying out initial investigation of retain samples
  • Communicating progress updates and test information in the department and to other relevant stake holders
  • Statistical analysis of test data and contribution towards continuous improvement of methods and processes
  • Support laboratory housekeeping and 5S initiatives
  • Awareness of equipment and calibration status

About You;

  • Prior laboratory experience (2+ yrs highly desired) and/or degree in relevant subject
  • Manufacturing experience (2+ yrs highly desired)
  • Communication and problem solving skills
  • The ability to work unsupervised
  • Attention to detail & Documentation completion
