Our valued client, based in Birmingham, are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team. As HR Advisor, you will play a massive part in an evolving team to fully support the HR function throughout the business.

This role is Monday – Thursday 8.30am-5pm, and Friday 8.30am-4pm. This is a fully office based role and experience in Employee Relation cases would be advantageous.

£30,000 - £32,000

HR Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Maintain HR systems and ensure records are kept accurate and up to date.
  • Collating data and creating Excel Spreadsheets.
  • Liaison with recruitment agencies.
  • Preparing job adverts, sifting CV's, interviewing and selecting appropriate candidates.
  • Prepare new starter paperwork and introduction of new employees.
  • Administer starter/leaver processes.
  • Lead formal meetings - grievances, disciplinary
  • Confident in ER related meetings.
  • Liaison with payroll regarding employee information
  • Ensuring electronic and paper based files are maintained and archived properly.

HR Advisor Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working within HR.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Good verbal and written communication.
  • Take accountability and influence matters.
  • Well organised and pro-active.
  • Knowledge of HR legislation
  • Confident and can work under pressure.
