Your new companyHays are working with a successful business who are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team in Shrewsbury, initially on a temporary basis but there is a possibility that this could become permanentYour new roleYou will be working within the finance team and duties will include:
- Processing high volumes of invoices
- Reconciling statements
- Resolving supplier queries
- Assisting with payment run preparation
- Ad-hoc accounting tasks
What you'll need to succeedYou should be an experienced Purchase Ledger/ Accounts Payable clerk who is used to resolving queries and processing volumes of invoices. You should have strong IT skills including Excel as well as good communication skills to liaise effectively throughout the business and with suppliers.
