A very exciting opportunity to join a leading consumer brand as a Finance Assistant. Reporting into the Systems Finance Manager, you will play a key part in support within the projects team which will be fast paced, give you lots of great exposure & they are a fun team!

This role will be on a fixed term 15-month contract based on-site. The purpose of this role is to assist with transitioning from SAP to Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O. You will be a key member of the project team and will have exposure to the whole organisation, providing information, support, and analysis.

Experience: Previous experience in a finance assistant role, preferably with experience in system implementation or project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in the migration of financial data from the old system to the new system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in testing the new finance system, identifying and reporting any issues or discrepancies.
  • Support in providing training and support to finance team members on the new system, including creating user guides and conducting training sessions.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining financial reports during the transition period, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements within the finance function and assist in implementing changes.
  • Assist in maintaining comprehensive documentation of the new system processes and procedures.
  • Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant regulations and internal policies
  • Work closely with IT, finance, and project management teams to ensure successful implementation of the new system.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

  • Experience with specific finance systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)
