Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with bookkeeping tasks and maintaining financial records
- Preparing and processing invoices, receipts, and payments
- Reconciling accounts and ensuring accuracy of financial data
- Assisting with monthly and year-end financial reports
- Supporting the preparation of VAT returns and other regulatory filings
- Managing client accounts and maintaining strong client relationships
- General administrative duties, including filing and correspondence
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a similar role (ideally in an accountancy practice)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills and a team player
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
