Company Details and Job OverviewKenton Black are working with an established and friendly firm in the Shrewsbury area who due to continued expansion are seeking to appoint Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant to join their team undertaking with accounts/bookkeeping and VAT duties. This Hybrid role requires the candidate to have strong bookkeeping skills with knowledge of VAT returns to undertake bookkeeping via Xero and Quickbooks from client's records and then prepare VAT returns and statutory accounts . The successful candidate will ideally be AAT qualified or can work to that standard with a solid knowledge of Xero/Quickbooks and experience of preparing VAT returns in a similar role within an accountancy environment.
