TARA are working with a Pre-School within the Shrewsbury area who are looking to recruit a Pre-School Manager starting after Easter. This position will either be through ourselves on a rolling basis or there is the possibility for the role to become permanent also for the right candidate.

Requirements:

  • A relevant Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role within an early years setting.
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operation of the preschool, ensuring a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment.
  • Lead and support a small team of practitioners, promoting professional development and teamwork.
  • Develop and implement high-quality learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and the wider community.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant policies, safeguarding requirements, and regulatory standards.
