We are looking for an experience property surveyor to join this well established team.

The role is predominately in commercial property surveying but will include some residential as well. As you are expected to travel to attend site surveys you will need a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle for which expenses are covered.

You will play a crucial role in assessing and managing properties, ensuring they meet the required standards and regulations. This position involves conducting thorough analyses of property conditions, providing recommendations for improvements, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance property value and functionality.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive surveys properties to assess their condition and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Analyse survey data to identify issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement within the property portfolio.
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, recommendations, and action plans for property management teams.
  • Collaborate with property managers, contractors, and other professionals to implement necessary repairs and enhancements.
  • Manage ongoing and planned maintenance activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and timelines.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to property management and surveying.
  • Provide expert advice on property valuation, market trends, and investment opportunities.

Requirements for the role:

  • A degree in Property Management, Surveying, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in property surveying commercial or residential.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly.
  • Confident using surveying tools and software for data collection and analysis.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full UK driving licence, own vehicle and flexibility to travel as required.
