Are you ready to take on an exciting challenge in the housing industry? Our client is seeking a Temporary Project Officer to join their dynamic Investment Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about project management and investment projects. This role is temporary, with a contract length of 6 months.

About the Role:

As a Project Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the Contract Manager in overseeing a variety of investment projects. You will ensure these projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking assigned projects from pre-tender procurement to final handover.
  • Preparing specifications and managing the procurement process.
  • Ensuring that all works comply with contract documents, specifications, and health and safety legislation. ??
  • Acting as Principal Designer when required.
  • Managing a range of professional external advisors, including architects, engineers, and quantity surveyors.

What You Bring:

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Knowledge of building regulations and health & safety standards.
  • Site experience and the ability to run small projects up to £1 million in value.
  • Familiarity with JCT Contracts.
  • Strong project management and contract administration skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities. ??
