- Deliver practical and theoretical training in line with the Apprenticeship Standard.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to apprentices to help them reach their full potential.
- Assess and evaluate apprentice work, offering constructive feedback to aid improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues and managers to ensure effective coordination between on-the-job and off-the-job training.
- Maintain and update training materials to reflect industry advancements.
- Ensure a safe and organised training environment.
- Support apprentices with embedded maths and English where needed.
- Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures to prioritise the well-being of learners.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits, including Ofsted inspections.
- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
- Strong occupational experience in the automotive sector.
- A passion for mentoring and training others.
- A recognised teaching qualification is beneficial, but full training and a paid teaching qualification will be provided.
- A full UK driving licence is required.
- First Aid at Work qualification (or willingness to obtain one).
