Credit Controller | Shrewsbury | Permanent | Full-time | Onsite | £27,000 - £28,000

Seymour John is exclusively partnering with a well-established business in Shrewsbury to recruit an experienced Credit Controller. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving company and play a key role in managing its accounts function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily credit control activities, ensuring timely collections.
  • Contact customers regarding overdue debts and process payments.
  • Allocate payments accurately and handle telephone credit card transactions.
  • Resolve outstanding debt issues and follow company procedures.
  • Liaise with internal teams and assist with reports.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in Credit Control or a similar role.
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic Excel skills.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team.
  • Strong numeracy skills.
