PURPOSE OF ROLE 

We are working with a highly respected insurance brokerage that is looking to add a Commercial Account Handler to its team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a background in Personal Lines insurance who are eager to transition into the Commercial sector. You'll be joining a collaborative environment where your skills and expertise will be valued, and your career will be supported and developed.

EXPERIENCE 

  • Experience working in Personal Lines insurance is essential.
  • A desire to step into a Commercial Insurance role and develop within this sector.
  • Proven experience in delivering excellent client service in a professional setting.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Ideally working towards or willing to pursue Cert CII (Certificate in Insurance).
  • Strong academic background, coupled with excellent IT proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office).

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are effectively met.
  • Handle policy administration tasks, including renewals, mid-term adjustments, and claims management.
  • Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive terms for clients.
  • Support the wider team in achieving business targets and delivering exceptional service.

SKILLS 

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and insurers.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
