Our client, an 'Independent' firm of Chartered Financial Planners now require a Paraplanner to join their team. This Paraplanner will be responsible for completing reports and conducting research to support one of their Advisers. They will work closely with the Adviser to understand client needs and ensure their satisfaction.

The ideal will be detail orientated, analytical and possesses excellent communication skills.

Responsiblities:

  • Identify and obtain necessary information to compile financial cash flow forecasts.
  • Manage research and analysis of financial products to meet client requirements.
  • Organise and present technical data effectively.
  • Assist with compliance-related issues.
  • Research financial products to support recommendations.
  • Prepare simple and complex financial planning reports and calculations.
  • Build strong client relationships and provide professional support.
  • Act as a liaison between the Adviser, providers, and clients to ensure a seamless advice journey.
  • Maintain continuous professional development to meet regulatory and personal growth requirements.
  • Ensure all business conducted adheres to internal and external legislative requirements

Skills and Experience:

  • Level 4 Diploma or equivalent qualification with a minimum of two years’ experience as a Paraplanner.
  • Strong knowledge and practical application of financial services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to compose professional and bespoke content for reports and client communications.
  • Familiarity with financial tools such as Defaqto, FE Analytics, Selectapension, and CashCalc.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and disciplined.
