Key Responsibilities

Provide expert psychological assessments and therapy.Conduct and evaluate psychological tests, providing sensitive feedback.Develop and implement treatment plans.Offer psychological interventions for individuals, families, and groups.Liaise with professionals to coordinate care.Conduct risk assessments and manage client risks.Supervise psychology trainees and assistant psychologists.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical / counselling Psychology.Current HPC registrationRegistration with the British Psychological Society is desirable.Experience in managing full clinical responsibility for clients' psychological care within multidisciplinary care plans.Experience working with diverse client groups across all age ranges and clinical settingsProficiency in complex psychological assessments, interventions, and management, requiring intense focusUnderstanding of relevant mental health legislationExperience in training in supervising other psychologists.
