Job Title: Mortgage and Protection Adviser
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 Basic, OTE £60,000 - £80,000
Location: Remote (Shrewsbury)
About our clients and the role:
Swarm Recruitment is working with a well-established, growing mortgage & protection firm looking to expand their team. Our clients have been successfully helping people with their financial needs for several years, and are part of one of the largest networks in the UK.
As a Mortgage and Protection Adviser, you will predominately working remotely, with monthly trips to their offices based in Shrewsbury. This will be a virtual role as you are remote, with the full support of the business, in terms of leads and administration support. This role is predominately dealing with Re-mortgage and Employee Benefits business, you will certainly not be short of leads, an abundance of these leads are coming through each week.
Salary & Benefits:
- Basic Salary £28,000 - £32,000
- OTE £60,000 - £80,000
- Established client bank and new leads from multiple sources
- Up to 25% commission on all banked business
- Bonuses on banked income & compliance
- Full admin support from appointment to completion, including appointments booked in your diary and business development support

Working Hours:
- Standard hours of 9am-5pm (Flexibility required for clients) 1-2 Evening appointment required.
- Monday Friday, Every other Saturday, day off in Lieu
- Full-time
- Remote working with 2 visits a month to Shrewsbury
Desired Experience:
- Minimum 12 months experience as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser
- Fully CeMap qualified or equivalent qualifications
- Strong knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and market trends.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Motivated to succeed and provide outstanding client support
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Engage with customers face-to-face and over the phone
- Provide expert advice to clients on a range of mortgage and protection products.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients needs and recommend tailored solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, and insurers.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest mortgage and protection regulations.
