Contracting Opportunity - Compliance Officer (Domestic Gas)

My client has a portfolio of properties across Shropshire and surrounding areas. They are dedicated to delivering high-quality homes and services to their residents. With a strong commitment to safety and compliance, they are looking for a Compliance Officer to join their team. This hire will be on an interim basis, with a strong possibility of transitioning to a permanent position.

The Role - Compliance Officer (Gas):

  • Drive excellence in domestic gas safety compliance across a diverse property portfolio, ensuring resident safety remains paramount
  • Proactively coordinate remedial works and planned maintenance programs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors while providing robust quality assurance of all gas safety works
  • Develop and implement best-practice gas safety policies, turning regulatory requirements into practical procedures
  • Take ownership of comprehensive compliance reporting and certification management
  • Act as a technical expert for gas safety matters, providing guidance to stakeholders
  • Lead contractor performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Handle sensitive resident communications with professionalism and care
