2nd-Line Support Engineer - (6 months FTC) | Salisbury | Up to 31K + Benefits

Are you an IT professional with experience in 2nd-line support? Deerfoot Recruitment is helping a dynamic and collaborative company hire a full-time 2nd-Line Support Engineer with a competitive salary of up to 31,000 and a generous benefits package.

As a 2nd-Line Support Engineer, you'll play a key role in the ongoing support of IT systems. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up and configuring desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Managing Active Directory (DNS, DHCP, GPO) and maintaining system security.
  • Providing expert support across Exchange, Office 365, and tools like Teams, Planner, and SharePoint.
  • Supporting large infrastructure projects and handling IT support tickets efficiently.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience with Active Directory (including DNS, DHCP, GPO).
  • Skills in software and hardware installation & configuration.
  • Exchange & Office 365 expertise (Teams, Planner, SharePoint).
  • Proficiency in maintaining system security and device management.
  • Excellent IT support ticket management experience.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ or Security qualifications.
  • Exposure to SQL and ITILv3.
  • MCDST certification.
