Our client, a well-established energy company, is looking for an experienced administrator to join their team based near Bridgwater.

The opportunity

Are you looking for a role where your knowledge, skills and experiences are utilised in a unique environment? If so, we currently have an exciting opportunity for the position of Administration Assistant within the Environmental Safety Group at our Hinkley Point B power station.

Reporting to the Environmental Safety Group Head, the Administration Assistant will facilitate the day to day needs of the department in supporting Environmental, Chemistry and Radiological compliance against company and regulatory standards. This role is a site based position at Hinkley Point B Power Station and is being offered as an agency position.

What you'll be doing

Within this role, you will:

  • Provide day to day administration support to the Environmental Safety Group.
  • Manage incoming laboratory data and upload into data management systems.
  • Support the group with tracking regulatory engagement and actions.
  • Create and maintain group records to ensure compliance with, Information Security policies, procedures and standards.
  • Act as the group contact for the department Corrective Action Programme following full training.

Who you are

To be considered for this role, you would be able to achieve UK Government security vetting to CTC (Counter Terrorism Check) standard.

To be successful in your application, you will have experience in managing the administrative needs of a diverse department.
